It's been a while...I've been attending weddings and parties in Canterbury, Somerset and Cardiff for the last three weekends. Pictured is the table decoration from the Canterbury wedding of Mr and Mrs Jay. I met Tootsie Sugar a couple of years ago when she hired me and Gaaavv Fowler to perform at Burlesque on the Beach in Margate. She still has trouble calling me by my real name!

On November 24th I performed at La Rose Rouge at the Eight Club in Moorgate. The organiser - Mich - had seen me perform my Allo Allo act at Bawdsville, and got in contact. It's always nice to be asked, so I happily accepted! It was a lovely party, and Anna Larkin was there as well, greeting the guests with her accordion. The photo was taken from behind the performance area, so you can see the audience reactions, which is unusual for a performance photo - though quite interesting to see their various expressions, which I can't ever take notice of when onstage.

The following Thursday was very exciting and nerve-wracking, as it was the debut performance of 'We Are Not Cakes', our Oberiu inspired theatre piece, at Volupte. This is Gav, Lily and I in costume before the performance. It went down pretty well, I was worried as it's very abstract and not particularly 'easy'. We had quite a few vocal reactions during the show - nervous giggling, random questions, and we were called 'weirdos'. All absolutely welcomed and expected! We were very happy with the responses, and will be performing the piece again at Madame Jojo's on December 16th. The overall plan is to keep making ten minute chunks, to eventually fashion into a full length theatre piece. I've been madly making costumes and puppets for the past month, so it was great seeing it all come together.

I have plenty of gigs to keep me busy in December, and will be performing my Christmas themed Mary Poppins act several times. Look at the Upcoming Appearances page for more detail.
